Dr Emilia Morton
Clinical Psychologist
I have a genuine non-judgemental approach as well as great interest in cultural diversity. I have been working as a qualified clinical psychologist since 2010. I am experienced in working with a wide range of topics in the community setting, inpatient setting as well as forensic settings. I work comfortably with anger, anxiety, depression, difficulties with emotional regulation, relationship problems, problems within the work setting, low self-esteem, guilt, sexuality and topics related to sex, life crisis, stress, burn-out, addictions, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, psychosis and pseudo-psychosis, difficulties with sleep and many more.
In individual therapy, not all problems or individuals fit one specific model. I tend to use an individualised approach with a base in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy while incorporating aspects from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Dynamic Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.

Holly van Rooyen
Clinical Psychologist
I am a clinical psychologist registered with the HCPC. I am originally from South African and have experience working therapeutically with individuals in many different contexts such as within the community, in-patient hospitals and the forensic setting and within these environments I have had the privilege of working with many individuals from different backgrounds and of different ages groups.
I am able to offer many forms of psychotherapy (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Psychodynamic psychotherapy) but it is my experience that within the structured therapeutic relationship, deep-seated difficulties may be explored in a safe and non-judgement space.
By engaging in psychological therapy individuals are enabled to address a variety of challenges such as forming or maintaining relationships, self-confidence, feeling depressed, suffering loss, intimacy difficulties as well as stress and anxiety. Psychological therapy allows the space for free talk, whereby you can say what you thinking are as you think it and together we can explore and see thinking patterns and make connections. This is a collaborative process whereby you feel supported and guided.
The psychological therapy I offer is tailored to the individual and their individual needs. Some people will seek short term intervention while others will engage in a long term process. I feel that people who seek treatment in the face of their difficulties show extreme courage and it is through their individual ability to recognise and acknowledge their challenges that will position them on their way to living a more gratifying and rewarding life.
